In dedication of our October 10 on 10 monthly fundraiser (donating $10 on the 10th of every month) we’re giving all of the donations directly to Ethan & his family to help with the cost of a new handicap van. Ethan suffers from schizencephaly, an extremely rare developmental birth defect characterized by abnormal slits, or clefts, in the cerebral hemispheres of the brain. Because of Ethan’s disorder, he is completely wheelchair bound and requires a handicap van. Usually there are grants or loans for families that need handicap vans for people with disorders like Ethan, but due to COVID-19, these grants/loans have either all been used, or they are no longer being given out. These vans can get extremely high in cost, ranging any where from $52,000 to $59,000 for 2018 and older models.

The handicap van that Ethan’s family currently owns is on it’s last leg and will be dying any day now. After years of taking Ethan to and from school, sporting events, doctor’s visits, hospital stays, and everywhere between, he and his family is in need of a new handicap van. They would greatly appreciate any and all donations to help get Ethan into a new and safe handicap van.
